New: online preview of some of the artworks to be auctioned
(we're adding new works as they come in).

Edinburgh's much loved art scene is facing a disaster.
The grass roots so vital for growing new talent are being decimated. Victims of the banking crisis, independent art centres are shutting down. One of the few left, the Forest Café, is battling to stay afloat and is calling on the whole community to rally round in support.

Both local and international artists are donating their work to a charity auction in support of the Forest, running at the AXO Gallery, Leith, Saturday 14th May, 6-10pm. By bidding in this auction, not only are people buying art but they are also supporting the arts community.

Art auction to be held on Saturday 14th May 6-10pm with a preview on 13th May 7-10pm.

If you're an artist and you'd like to donate a piece, we'd love to hear from you! Please:
